Per Jessl’n BDS Stockholm – Oral and Maxillo – Facial Specialist |
| Dental Implants, as a means of replacing missing teeth, were first introduced in Sweden in the beginning of the 1960’s. The first patient was treated in 1965, in Gothenburg. He had all his implants intact when he sadly died recently. This shows how reliable this treatment is; provided it is well planned and carried out by experienced, and specially trained professionals.
I have been involved full time in Oral Surgery since 1991 and started placing Dental Implants in 1992. I qualified as an Oral Surgery specialist in 1997. I held, up until 2003 a part time post as a consultant in the Southern Hospital, Stockholm. At the same time I built up a Private Specialist Practice, where I now work full time. In recent years, the number of Dental Implants I’ve placed exceeds 1000 per year. The total number of Dental Implants I have placed throughout my career exceeds 8000. At our Practice in Stockholm I also provide general Oral Surgery and general Dentistry. I am registered with the UK General Dental Council and on their specialist list for oral surgeons |
