Emergency Appointments

All registered patients, that is patients registered with our dental insurance plans such as "Denplan" will have emergency cover countrywide and can claim worldwide for reimbursement of funds due to a dental emergency arising while out of the country.

We recommend that these patients contact Denplan directly if away from the local area. At home all patients requiring an emergency appointment will be seen at our practice usually on the same day.

During non-working hours and at weekends there will be a telephone number to use in order to contact the centralised emergency services. The phone number will be on our answering machine with instructions.

"Pay-as-you go patients"; that is patients not registered with an insurance plan, are required to pay for emergency appointments if they are not undergoing a current course of treatment.

These patients should also use the phone number on our answering machine to contact the centralised emergency services in case of an out-of-hours emergency.
